Lazy Sundays

I woke up this morning to one little girl with a sore throat. No church this morning :(. I was really looking forward to reconnecting with Him, but taking care of my girls is a necessity. The day ended up being a great day to stay home. It was cold and rainy. The girls spent the day playing with Hailee's new birthday presents while I caught up on house work. I made a delicious dinner of glazed pork tenderloin, cider scalloped potatoes and homemade applesauce. The girls even enjoyed it! I don't remember the last time my house smelled so good. We finished the night with a fun game of Chutes and Ladders. Hailee's sore throat went away but a runny nose continued all day long. I really hope this goes away soon! I have conferences this week and can't afford to miss any work. I will be spending my evening with the Lord. I know He will still listen to my prayers whether I'm at church or not.
